A classic and bestselling book is “Rich Dad Poor Dad”*- what the Rich teach their Kids about Money that the poor and middle class do not! I read the German* and English* edition of the book. It was translated into many languages.

Content of “Rich Dad Poor Dad”?

Robert Kiyosaki describes his early life. He lives in two worlds: His own family is from a normal background, his (poor) father being a civil servant; the other world contains his friend’s (rich) father, a business man.

He describes the two fathers’ internal and external conflicts and their respective outlook on dealing with money, asset growth, asset value and liabilities.

He depicts, how he worked in different jobs as a young man and later made his fortune predominantly from real estate.

Conclusion from “Rich Dad Poor Dad”

Asset growth through real estate is not my personal strategy, but Robert Kiyosaki shows well how that is achievable.

I think, “Rich Dad Poor Dad” is an exciting and highly commendable book – a must read. If you do not have time to read, you could also listen to the audio book*!
